OneMarketData LLC, creators of OneTick, the premier solution for event stream processing and tick data management, announced today that Algert Global, a San Francisco-based systematic investment manager, has partnered with OneMarketData as an early adopter of OneTick Best Ex, a fully hosted and managed TCA solution for asset managers. In a competitive evaluation process, Algert Global chose OneTick Best Ex platform based on its flexibility, features and cost. OneMarketData’s depth of experience in delivering customized TCA solutions to sophisticated financial firms also led to them being chosen. The solution will provide detailed TCA, enhancing Algert’s proprietary system and serving as a third party Best Ex validator.
Algert Global will use OneTick Best Ex for post-trade analysis in order to monitor, understand and reduce the market impact associated with active portfolio management. Algert Global will use the service to meet its fiduciary best execution responsibilities though vigilant transactions cost control, optimized execution channel selection and broker accountability.
OneTick Best Ex includes an interactive dashboard that will allow Algert Global to review its trading activity history at several levels in the portfolio management cycle ranging from baskets to broker placements to individual fills. The dashboard will support outlier analysis, rule-based filtering, flexible aggregations, forward and backward mark-outs, what-if scenario analysis, charting and report generation. OneTick Best Ex leverages the global multi-asset class history available through the OneTick Cloud™, OneMarketData’s solution for on-demand access to global tick data, reference data, corporate action adjustments and hosted analytics.
