New CRO appointment will ensure customers and partners continue to achieve security outcomes and success

LONDON, UK – 24 October 2024 – Logpoint is announcing the appointment of Frank Koelmel as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), underscoring Logpoint’s dedication to establishing itself as a European cybersecurity powerhouse. The appointment will enable Logpoint to continue to focus on market growth by providing high-impact cybersecurity solutions that make it easier for security teams to defend against cyberattacks and for organisations to navigate the compliance and threat landscape.

With over 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, Frank Koelmel has extensive experience running successful customer engagement lifecycles and building brands that resonate with customers. He comes from a position as President for the Americas and EMEA at Cybereason. Before that, he served in various leadership positions at recognised brands in the cybersecurity and technology industries, including Palo Alto Networks, FireEye, and Brocade.

“I’ve dedicated my career to helping customers to be safe and secure,” says Frank Koelmel, Logpoint CRO. “Logpoint has proven to be a great cybersecurity partner, helping organisations improve cybersecurity posture and reduce risk. With a strong foundation of excellent technology, robust data collection, and talented people, Logpoint enables effective threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR). Logpoint’s position as the only major European SIEM provider, combined with its strong commitment to data privacy, makes it an ideal partner for European organisations, particularly those in critical infrastructure and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).”

“We work to create a safer digital society for organisations, which requires close collaboration with our customers and partners and a people-centric approach to leadership,” says Mikkel Drucker, Logpoint CEO. “Frank has an impressive track record of making customers successful, exceeding customer expectations, and fostering growth. I am confident that Frank can reinforce our strong market intimacy and help our customers and partners progress.”

Logpoint offers a European Cyber Defence Platform based on SIEM with behaviour analytics, automation, and case management technologies to enhance TDIR capabilities. The company recently announced the acquisition of AI-driven NDR provider Muninn to make it easier for security teams to defend against cyberattacks. Designed for mid-market organisations and MSSPs, Logpoint’s solutions help combat cyber threats while ensuring compliance with European data and cybersecurity regulations. As the only European SIEM vendor with a Common Criteria EAL3+ certification required by NATO, Logpoint’s solutions are recognised for their data protection and privacy.
