TRITON GLOBAL EXPANDS INTO CANADA
Triton Claims, the commercial claims management arm of Triton Global, has expanded its global capability with the opening of a new office in Toronto, Canada.
The Canadian operation will be led by KrystynaKouri, Vice President – Triton Claims Canada. Krystynahas twelve years market experience and was previously Complex Claims Director at AIG Canada; prior to that she was Claims Counsel at Liberty International and at Encon Inc.
Dino Zenarosa, CRM,takes up the role of Assistant Vice President – Triton Claims Canada. He joins from Cott Corporation where he was Claims Manager and prior to that, wasSenior Claims Examiner at Catlin Canada.He has also previously worked at Premiere Insurance Underwriting Services and at Zurich Insurance.
The primary focusof the Toronto business will be commercial claims handling (financial lines, property & casualty) and audit services.
Neil Sully, Global Head of Claims, Triton Global commented: “In 2013, Lloyd’s premium income in Canada accounted for C$2.05bn and 49% of that premium derived from liability business – our specialist area. Managing agents want to reduce the number of TPAs they contract with globally and the opening of our new office means that we can now handle commercial claims for them in another major insurance territory. Establishingour Toronto officemarks the next step inthe development of Triton Global and will complementthe work of our teams in the UK, US, Australia and Asia.”
