    • MyCarNeedsA.com launches ‘SOS’ Accident Aftercare service for motorists
    • Replacement car delivered quickly to get drivers mobile and repair process managed
    • Smartphone app also delivers nearest fuel station locations, parking pins, coffee stop suggestions and more
    • Car prangs top estimated two million annually

Screen-1A new smartphone App will allow drivers involved in the UK’s two million* plus car park prangs, roundabout bumps and T-junction crashes recorded every year to get help at the touch of a button.

The customer-first Accident Aftercare service, which provides invaluable support from replacement vehicles to liaising with insurers and body repairers, has been launched by car repair and servicing price comparison website MyCarNeedsA.com

As well as providing an immediate ‘SOS’ function to quickly access a replacement vehicle while the damaged car is repaired, the new App provides additional convenience to the motorist by showing the nearest fuel station or coffee stop, the ability to ‘pin’ their parking location and log car journeys.

To date MyCarNeedsA.com has helped 200,000 motorists save money, time and hassle on their car repairs and servicing needs. The new smartphone App, developed in conjunction with accident aftercare specialist, Accident Exchange, signals the brand’s intent to extend its suite of products and services.

Following an accident, drivers can click on the ‘SOS’ button via the App or enter the ‘one-call’ number which quickly connects to an expert who will manage the process – from insurer to repairer – completely free of charge.  The service is available to all motorists – regardless of fault.

Scott Hamilton, Founder and Managing Director of MyCarNeedsA.com, said: “Being involved in an accident is a stressful experience. Our ethos is about delivering convenience and making life easier for the car owner, in the good and bad times. The new Accident Aftercare service together with the SOS one-click button in the new App means we’re putting that convenience and peace of mind in the palm of the motorist’s hand.”

MyCarNeedsA.com has 200,000 registered members who are serviced by a national network of quality controlled independent and franchised dealer garages.
