Close Brothers Invoice Finance, part of Close Brothers Group plc, has appointed Neil Jones as Managing Director for the South.
Neil has 17 years’ experience in the asset based finance industry and has held senior positions at KPMG and PwC. In both roles he had responsibility for the debt advisory teams and lead those who specialised in the provision of comprehensive asset based lending (ABL) solutions to the corporate market.
Neil commented, “It’s a really exciting time for me to join the business and a well-established leadership team. My aim is to continue to build upon our expertise in the corporate market, delivering well-structured facilities and developing relationships with key partners.”
Most recently, Neil lead the refinance of a pan European ABL facility involving receivables, inventory and plant and machinery.
Neil continued, “The southern sales team has further expanded to enhance our coverage throughout the region, with three key appointments in London and a new Head of Sales.
“We’re in a good place and I’m confident that the new team will prove to have a significant and positive impact on the future development of our southern commercial centre and the growth aspirations of the business as a whole.”
David Thomson, CEO for Close Brothers Invoice Finance, said, “I’m delighted to welcome Neil on board to help steer the southern operation towards further success and increased market share.
