Holcim to press ahead with acquisitions in 2026 - Finance news and analysis from Global Banking & Finance Review

ZURICH, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Holcim wants to be a consolidator in the fragmented building materials industry and will press ahead with acquisitions during 2026 after buying 18 companies in 2025, CEO Miljan Gutovic said on Friday.

"We want to be consolidator where it's possible," Gutovic told reporters after Holcim reported its fourth quarter results.

"M&A is a key pillar of our strategy. We will continue with the same speed," he added.
