PARIS, March 5 (Reuters) - France has authorised a temporary presence of U.S. aircraft on certain bases located in the country on a temporary basis, a French army general staff official said on Thursday.
"Considering the context, France demanded that the concerned resources do not participate in any way in operations conducted by the United States in Iran but strictly for the support of the defence of our partners in the region," the official said.
