Gazprom is selling its Moscow business center for $129 million after a $7 billion loss, as part of a strategic asset liquidation following its headquarters move to St. Petersburg.
MOSCOW (Reuters) -Russian energy giant Gazprom said on Tuesday it had put a business centre near Moscow that housed its offices up for sale for a starting price of 10.34 billion roubles ($129 million).
Gazprom embarked on the sale of a number of real estate assets last year after posting a 2023 loss of almost $7 billion as gas exports to Europe collapsed, and after having completed the move of its headquarters to St. Petersburg in 2021.
The company said it is aiming to sell the Business centre, which includes 31 real estate assets and hosted Gazprom's gas retail business, which sells gas to Moscow city, the Moscow region and other domestic markets.

Gazprom has put the business center up for sale with a starting price of 10.34 billion roubles, which is approximately $129 million.
The sale of real estate assets follows Gazprom's reported loss of nearly $7 billion in 2023, attributed to a collapse in gas exports to Europe.
The business center includes 31 real estate assets and previously hosted Gazprom's gas retail business, which sells gas to Moscow city and the surrounding region.
