Ventola Projects, who are based in Leicester and specialise in electrical installations, have recently supplied their innovative lighting range to the Curve Theatre, Leicester.

logoVentola’sVAvR LED digital tape, which delivers effect lighting, is highly regarded around the UK, mainland Europe and the Middle East, and has recently been required for the Curve Theatre’s latest showing, What the Butler Saw. The show began on Friday 3 March and will run through to Saturday 18 March.

The show, which is a production based on Joe Orton’s play, is a contemporary classic and required effect lighting to complement the ‘farce’, comedic, genre of the show.

The VAvR LED digital tape has been used to create effects in a host of applications including clubs, casinos, cruise ships and retail displays, and allows for fully flexible colour-changing effects. Ventola supplied the tape at Leicester’s Curve Theatre and have subsequently heightened the overall experience of the show.

Managing Director of Ventola Projects, Mick Ventola, spoke about being involved with one of the city’s most recognised venues, “At Ventola Projects we have supplied lighting solutions and especially our VAvR lighting range to a host of different entertainment venues from bowling alleys to cinema complexes. This is the first time we have worked with the Curve Theatre and we are thrilled to be able to assist a business on our doorstep! We are excited to be involved with ‘What The Butler Saw’ which is set to be a fantastic production and are hopeful that this is just the first of many.”

After the production leaves Leicester’s Curve Theatre it will move around the UK to some of the nation’s most illustrious theatres. Ventola’sVAvR LED digital tape will form part of the stage scenery and travel with them as part of the set which is fantastic for the Ventola team.
