Freedom for Intermediaries, part of the Freedom Finance brand and previously known as The Lending Wizard, has today unveiled a comprehensive rebrand that will give intermediaries immediate access to a wide variety of flexible lending solutions.

The new and improved website will offer an enhanced and mobile compatible service that will enable increased efficiency and functionality for mortgage brokers and IFAs to source loan quotes for their clients. The interactive site will include live case tracking, quick quote calculators and will offer the opportunity for advisors to produce suitability letters and full details of all offers for their files.

The easy-to-use service, which currently serves over 2000 intermediaries, offers a wide range of loan solutions including bridging, commercial and buy-to-let loans, as well as second charge mortgages. Advisors will also be able to use the Freedom for Intermediates site to get the latest up-to-date news on regulation, the market and the industry, and to view client case studies that will help them to spot opportunities for their customers.

The rebrand comes ahead of the introduction of the Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD) on 21 March 2016, which will affect the advising and selling standards for second charge mortgage brokers.

Nicola Mooney, Head of Secured, Intermediary & Business Finance at Freedom for Intermediaries commented:

“This is an exiting change for us at Freedom for Intermediaries. We feel that our new corporate identity will offer a more streamlined experience for our customers and will also allow us to benefit from the Freedom Finance name. The decision to rebrand and to enhance our services underscores the importance that we place on having robust processes in place to enable advisors to find the best possible outcomes for their customers and their individual financial circumstances.

“We have launched this rebrand ahead of a very important time for the industry with the implementation of the MCD. The new Freedom for Intermediaries site will give advisers a fully compliant suite of products that will help them adapt to the changes that these new rules will bring. Over the last year we have been training our team, recruiting the right talent and updating our processes to ensure we and all the intermediaries we work with are fully prepared for the MCD, and we are confident that this new site will ease this process considerably.”
