SEYFARTH APPOINTS STEVEN MEIER CHAIR OF CORPORATE DEPARTMENT

Seyfarth Shaw LLP today announced that Steven R. Meier has been named chair of the firm’s Corporate department. Since 2014, Meier has served as co-chair of Seyfarth’s Tax practice and chair of its Chicago Corporate group.

With more than 100 lawyers across the country, Seyfarth’s Corporate department serves a diverse client base, ranging from start-up ventures to middle market companies to large multinational corporations, and covering industries including real estate, banking & finance, health care, manufacturing, public/private partnerships, real estate, technology, and telecommunications.

A partner in the Chicago office and veteran deal lawyer, Meier has broad experience leading U.S. domestic and cross-border corporate and real estate transactions, and maintains a diverse tax practice involving all aspects of federal taxation.
