SAS Announces Expanded Human Spaceflight Safety™ Services to Support Deep Space & Lunar Missions

BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 10, 2018 — Special Aerospace Services (SAS) today announced the offering of expanded Spaceflight Safety™ Products and Services that now include support for deep space and lunar missions. SAS developed the expanded line of engineering services to cover the next phase of human spaceflight that will be initiated by inaugural test launches and first human launches in the coming year.

“Human spaceflight is on the verge of experiencing a renaissance thanks to the recent entry into the industry by multiple commercial organizations,” said Tim Bulk, SAS Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer. “We believe our new tools and services can offer a cost-effective and improved safety solution to these new systems.”
