Poland’s UOKiK searched Allegro’s Poznań HQ and Warsaw offices on Feb 26, 2026 during preliminary proceedings. Authorities suspect Allegro favored its own logistics services, potentially breaching competition rules.
Feb 26 (Reuters) - Poland's antimonopoly office UOKiK said on Thursday it had searched the headquarters of e-commerce platform Allegro in Poznan and its offices in Warsaw as part of explanatory proceedings.
The searches were related to suspicions that Allegro may have favoured its own logistics services over those of its competitors, potentially breaching competition rules, UOKiK said in a statement.

Poland’s competition authority UOKiK searched Allegro’s Poznań and Warsaw offices as part of preliminary proceedings into suspected favoritism of the company’s own logistics services.
UOKiK is investigating suspicions that Allegro may have favored its in-house logistics over competitors, which could constitute a breach of competition rules if confirmed.
Authorities will assess materials gathered during the searches to decide whether to open formal proceedings or impose measures. No final determination has been made yet.
