Object Computing, Inc. (OCI) announced today plans to feature Micronaut, a new open source, JVM-based application-development framework, at the Google Cloud Next ˜19 conference in San Francisco, California.
In a one-hour breakout session at Next ’19, Micronaut co-founder, Jeff Brown, will introduce the Micronaut Framework and demonstrate how it simplifies the development and deployment of microservices and serverless applications to GCP.
Micronaut was designed with built-in support for GCP services and hosting, and we’re honored to have this opportunity to present it at Google Cloud’s premier technology conference, said Brown. We deliberately designed the framework from the ground up to simplify the development and deployment of microservices and serverless applications, and we found that Google Cloud’s services were the perfect complement to what we set out to accomplish.
Micronauts built-in Google Cloud support includes service discovery and configuration, distributed tracing, and cloud instance metadata. Together, Micronaut and GCP can be leveraged to build and deploy fast, lightweight serverless and microservice applications at scale.
Next ˜19 is an annual conference hosted by Google Cloud featuring three days of networking, learning opportunities, and interaction with Google Cloud experts, IT professionals, and executives across all industries. Next ˜19 will be held April 9-11 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
