NEW INDUSTRY TALENT FOR NIU SOLUTIONS TEAM

Niu Solutions, the leading provider of managed IT services, has today announced a series of new appointments in a move that will strengthen its business development efforts and the team’s core digital expertise and skillsets.

 The six new appointments in Niu’s business development team include Daniel Acordia, business development director, Floyd Toussaint-Kaye, sales manager, Ricky Webber, sales manager, Ian O’Farrell, sales manager, Jas Jouhal, sales manager, and Jack Livings, sales manager.

 As part of the recruitment drive, Neil Sharp joins as infrastructure and storage consultant, Karl Watson joins as network engineer, and Chris Wooding joins as information security officer, having acquired a wealth of industry expertise in their respective roles at firms including Rackspace, Barclays Bank, Virgin Media Services and Capita Clinical Solutions.

 The new additions form part of Niu’s ambitious growth plans to expand the business and its client base across the retail and financial services sectors.

 Daniel Acordia – Business Development Director

 An experienced sales professional with over seven years of consulting experience, Daniel previously worked at Rackspace where he established and led the company’s digital sales team. As a business development director at Niu, Daniel will be responsible for driving the sales growth of the company, and will bring particular expertise from his work in the retail sector.

 Floyd Toussaint-Kaye– Sales Manager

 With over 20 years’ experience in IT sales, Floyd joins Niu from Rackspace as a sales manager. In his previous role as business development consultant, he developed extensive customer service and sales experience. He is therefore well-positioned to advise clients on the best strategy to optimise their digital offering and support Niu’s new development projects.

 Ricky Webber – Sales Manager

 Formerly a sales director at comScore, Ricky brings 16 years of sales experience to the role at Niu. His strong account management skills and expertise in social media will bring innovative and creative ideas to the team, support client projects and drive further growth.

 Jas Jouhal – Sales Manager

 A sales professional with several years’ industry experience, and particular expertise in the fintech space, Jas joins Niu from IPC Trading Systems where she was responsible for managing the sales of its solutions including hardware, software, consultancy and managed services to UK private banks, fund management firms, hedge funds, and brokers.

 Ian O’Farrell – Sales Manager

 A sales professional with over 12 years of experience, Ian joins Niu from Sungard Availability Services where he held the position of business development manager. In his role, he supported the company achieve its business acquisition targets and generate new opportunities. Prior to this, Ian worked at Virgin Media Services as a key account manager for UK Telco where he was responsible for driving new business leads with existing and prospective customers.

 Neil Sharp – Infrastructure and Storage Consultant

 Neil has acquired 19 years of strong IT experience having previously worked at Barclays where he supporting the installation and management of the institution’s extensive global TSM infrastructure. He joins Niu as an infrastructure and storage consultant where he will apply his knowledge and skills to market new IT products.

 Karl Watson – Network Engineer

 Bringing over 12 years of IT and technology experience to his new role, Karl will bring vital insight to the construction and maintenance of global corporate networks from his previous role at Capita Clinical Solutions.

 Chris Wooding – Information Security Officer

 The appointment of Chris Wooding is set to bolster Niu’s expertise in the evolving payments market having spent almost nine years at Mi-Pay. Having latterly held the position of head of operations at Mi-Pay, Chris will advise Niu’s clients on best practice relating to information security (InfoSec) policies, standards and controls.
