EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on March 2, 2026 emphasized that a lasting solution to the Iran crisis must be diplomatic, calling for a credible transition, halting nuclear and ballistic programs, and ending regional destabilization.
BRUSELS, March 2 (Reuters) - The only lasting solution for the crisis in Iran is a diplomatic one, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday.
