If you are looking forward to uninstalling an app on Mac, then let me tell you that it is very easy but bit different, as compared to the process followed for Windows PC. Though it is easy, sometimes you may encounter a Mac program which is stubborn, and you cannot get rid of it easily. We are going to discuss solutions for such issues, we will tell you that how you can delete an application or a program from Mac.
Deleting an App on the Mac
If you are willing to get an app deleted, then first get it located in the folder of Applications through the Finder. To do that:
Get the Finder opened up
Then go to Applications and after that scroll down until you reach the application
After doing this, drag and then drop the application in bin or Trash
Now, get the trash emptied by right-clicking on the icon of Trash. If in case you are willing to get the program deleted the tan on Trashcan, after that go to program and right click on it and then select Delete Immediately
If requested, enter the password of yours
Deleting the Mac app by using the Launchpad
An app can also be deleted by using the Launchpad, your apps will be shown here in the interface that is similar to that of iOS.
In order to get the Launchpad open, tap on F4, this is the button which shows the grid that has six squares
Then find the app, which you are willing to remove
Then click on Option/Alt key
After that tap on Delete in order to confirm that you want to get the program removed
Removing the program completely from Mac
If you are willing to get the app deleted completed from your Mac, then follow the steps listed below:
First of all, get the access to the folder of Library, this is by default hidden since Mac OS X 10.6, you can easily get it revealed. To do that:
Get the Finder opened up
Then tap on the drop-down menu of Go, present in the top bar
As you see the menu, tap and hold the key of Option/Alt
You will be able to see the option of Library between the dropdown of Computer and Home, tap on it, in order to get the folder, open up
Now start scrolling through this folders list, in order to find the one that is related to the application that you are willing to uninstall
Once this step gets complete, get the directories of Application Support open through Finder and start looking for the folder which contains the data of the app, which you will delete
Deleting the Apple Apps
Apps such as Mail or Safari cannot be deleted, or the other apps that are there as a part of the MacOS.

Some shareware utilities are present on the internet, which can help you out in tracking the errant app files and getting them deleted for you. Some helpful apps are CleanApp, AppDelete, AppCleaner and Uninstaller, make sure you do some research before using these apps, as we haven’t tested them personally.
