Harneys advises Banco doBrasil S.A. on the issuance of notes under their US$20bn senior unsecured programme

Harneys advises Banco doBrasil S.A. (acting through its Grand Cayman branch) on the issuance of the Series No.:3 Tranche under the US$20,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme. This is the first issuance by Banco do Brasil in 2018 in the international capital markets.

Harneys also represented the institution in connection with its tender offer for up to U.S.$600,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 8.500% Perpetual Notes and up to U.S.$100,000,000 aggregate principal amount of the 9.250% Perpetual Notes, which in both cases exceeded the tender cap applicable.

The Cayman team was led by the head of Harneys’ Banking and Finance Group in Cayman, Nicole Pineda, and assisted by associate Ana Lazgare.
