As institutional portfolios are increasingly made up of more complex and diverse investments, the tools used to analyze and select strategies must offer increasingly sophisticated analyses. eVestment, a leading provider of institutional investment data and analytics, announced today the launch of eVestment Quantum Analytics, a web-based solution that adds multi-asset class portfolio analysis and portfolio construction capabilities to eVestment’s existing data and analytics offerings.
Quantum is part of eVestment’s revamped suite of intuitive solutions designed to analyze and report on both traditional and alternative investment strategies while offering flexibility through tiered offerings for diverse client types.
“For members of the institutional investment world who need to construct and analyze strategies at a portfolio level, Quantum provides both the data across asset classes and the types of statistical and industry standard calculations necessary to guide portfolio level decisions,” said eVestment founder and COO Matt Crisp. “Quantum Analytics furthers our vision of providing sophisticated analytics across all asset classes within a single platform.”
Users of eVestment’s Quantum include marketing, sales, strategy, product and investment professionals within asset management firms and hedge funds, as well as plan sponsors, consultants and other buy-side institutional investors. Quantum offers expanded style analysis, multi-asset class portfolio analysis, liquidity analysis, optimization, and portfolio-level construction and modeling using advanced quantitative techniques.
Quantum users can also create presentation-ready charts, reports, tear sheets and fact sheets. In addition, the tool features an easy-to-use interface, drag-and-drop charting, interactive profiles and personalized dashboards.
“The result is a tool that is as powerful as it is intuitive to use,” said Crisp.
