BRUSSELS, Feb 26 (Reuters) - The European anti-fraud office said it was looking into Peter Mandelson, Britain's former ambassador to the United States and a former EU politician, adding it could not comment further and that doing so did not mean it was opening an investigation.
Mandelson's lawyers did not respond directly to a request for comment.
Mandelson has faced scrutiny over his ties to the deceased, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
