Specialist healthcare technology solutions provider Distec is due to showcase a range of next-generation technologies at the UK Health Show 2018, including revolutionary point of care mobile carts, high-performing medical-grade computers and interactive touchscreens, plus self-service stands.

The UK Health Show takes place 25^th-26^th September at the Excel Centre in London, and is the country’s leading gathering of NHS, primary care, independent sector, local authorities and private providers who want to overcome the challenges of digital transformation within the healthcare sector.

Distec will be exhibiting in partnership with Howard Medical and Elo Touch Solutions to bring the latest innovations in medical technology to the UK sector, helping healthcare professionals to drive efficiencies, reduce costs and ultimately enhance patient care.

Howard Medical’s advanced mobile carts are well-established in the US, and Distec is working with the firm to bring them to the UK market for the first time. The carts are fully customisable according to the needs of each care setting, and support electronic patient records (EPR), the Paperless 2020 initiative and ePMA, therefore supporting the wider healthcare sector challenges of digital transformation and greater health and social care integration. Elo Touch Solutions is a specialist provider of touchscreen solutions for multiple industries. Working with Distec, they offer a range of touch monitors for EPR updates, patient self-service kiosks and appointment check-in screens, all aiming to improve patient safety and speed up manual processes.
