2025 Operating Profit and Net Sales Growth

PARIS, March 4 (Reuters) - France's Dassault Aviation said on Wednesday its operating profit rose to 635 million euros ($737.4 million) in 2025 from 519 million a year earlier, lifted by a 19% jump in net sales to 7.4 billion euros.

    CEO Commentary and Industry Challenges

    Geopolitical and Economic Uncertainties

"The military, geopolitical, and budgetary contexts, coupled with tariffs, are creating uncertainty for business activity. At the same time, tax pressure is eroding the company’s competitiveness," CEO Eric Trappier said in a statement.

Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Project

    Uncertainty and Rivalry with Airbus

Trappier flagged that uncertainty remains regarding the troubled Future Combat Air System (FCAS) fighter jet project.

The 100 billion euro initiative bringing together France, Germany and Spain is being threatened by a rivalry between Dassault Aviation and Airbus as disputes over the project's leadership deepen.
