Darigold is pleased to announce today the hiring of Mark Garth as its new Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, effective Nov. 27. Garth is an accomplished finance executive with an impressive track record of high standards, developing people, driving commercial success, and creating a results-oriented culture.
We are thrilled to have Mark join the Darigold team, said Stan Ryan, President and CEO. As Darigold embarks on the next century, after recently celebrating our 100-year anniversary, Mark will be instrumental in supporting our trajectory of international growth, customer focus, consumer innovation and sustainable business practices. He is a proven business leader who will help take our co-op to the next level.
Garth brings significant leadership experience to Darigold across a broad range of financial functions and financing. He also has substantial business experience in similar food and beverage industries that are directly relevant to Darigolds business, including branded consumer products, cyclical agricultural commodities and global ingredient customers. He most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer for Country Fresh Holdings, LLC, in The Woodlands, Texas. Prior to joining Country Fresh, Garth was Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer at Perdue Farms (Maryland) and Wells Dairy (Iowa). Previously, Garth held significant senior financial roles at Plexus Corp. (Wisconsin), Conagra (Nebraska) and Maytag (Iowa).

Garth earned an MBA from Drake University and a BA in accounting from Central College in Iowa. Garth is a certified internal auditor, management accountant and CPA. Garth and his family will be relocating to the Seattle area from the Houston area.
