Nevada Unemployment Rate Falls Thanks to Local Job Creators
Headquartered in Las Vegas, Credit One Bank is contributing to a steady decrease in Nevada’s unemployment rate by creating hundreds of new jobs. Over the past year, employers in Las Vegas have added 24,300 jobs—as reported by the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation—contributing to a new employment high of 998,200 jobs and a decrease in the state’s unemployment rate down to 4.9 percent.
The growth of Credit One Bank is attributed in part to the opening of its new state-of-the-art headquarters in Southwest Las Vegas earlier this year. New roles have been created in the company’s technical, analytical, and marketing departments, and the company is currently hiring to fill nearly 100 positions as the bank continues to flourish.
