Bank of Commerce and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $8,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to Main Street Greenwood to help small business owners enhance the facades of their buildings in downtown Greenwood, Mississippi.
Local dignitaries will join bank representatives in awarding the funds at a check presentation at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Main Street Greenwood at 325 Main Street in Greenwood, Mississippi. The media is encouraged to attend.
Main Street Greenwood supports the preservation of historic resources in downtown Greenwood, Mississippi, through projects, events and activities that make downtown a viable place to live, work and visit.
The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions like Bank of Commerce to make a contribution of $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas will match at a 3:1 ratio.
