A New Era – Huxley & Progressive Recruitment Dubai

The story of SThree in Dubai is one of success, growth and ambition. With just one brand in 2008, they’ve had four office moves, doubled the brand offering and have gone from strength to strength in the last 11 years. This success is being noticed externally, too, as SThree in Dubai have won multiple recruitment and executive search awards and most recently have been shortlisted for Best Diversity & Inclusion Initiative.

The Huxley brand in Dubai focusses on the Banking, Technology and Financial services markets, while Progressive focusses on the Engineering and Oil and Gas markets. They have been taken to the heart of the business community they serve and established themselves and SThree as the leading STEM staffing specialists in the region.

The team are proud of having developed their brand organically, and have increased their headcount by a massive 700%. The latest round of growth sees the team relocating to a new, larger office space in Dubai’s International Financial Centre (DIFC) – with an incredible view of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

This new, state of the art office is more than twice as large as their last and will accommodate almost double the current headcount of 53. With the space to grow their headcount even further, the team can grow their internal functions, helping to deliver a better service for clients and customers.

Region Head for Huxley, Hasnain Qazi, shared his thoughts on the move.

“This is a very exciting time for us. Moving to a brand new, bespoke office is huge news.

“Given how much time we spend in the office, it is wonderful to have an environment that both energises us, and when needed, provides relaxation too.

“It also demonstrates the resilience of our business and the size and scale of the opportunity in front of us – this is a great advertisement for our customers.

“With this positive mind-set, we have already started searching for new talent to join us when we are in the new space.

Hashim Kapadia, Region Head for Progressive GE, also commented:

 “Our Contracts/Outsource division is projected to grow by over 30% in the next 12 months in terms of headcount. The team can also expect growth in management-level opportunities to fast track their careers.

“By 2022, we plan to double the growth of the business and strengthen our ties with our customers. The team also wants to ensure it is giving back to the community as we grow our presence in the region, and CSR will remain a key aspect of our vision and strategy.”
