Ukraine is in positive talks with the US to purchase Tomahawk missiles, although President Trump is not considering a deal at this time.
(Reuters) -Ukraine is engaged in “positive” talks about buying Tomahawk missiles and other long-range weaponry with the United States, Ukraine's ambassador to the U.S., Olha Stefanishyna, told Bloomberg News on Thursday.
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that, for now, he is not considering a deal that would allow Ukraine to obtain long-range Tomahawk missiles for use against Russia.

Tomahawk missiles are long-range, all-weather, subsonic cruise missiles used primarily by the U.S. Navy. They are designed to be launched from ships and submarines and can strike land targets with precision.
Long-range weaponry includes military weapons capable of hitting targets at significant distances. This category often encompasses missiles, artillery, and advanced aerial systems designed for precision strikes.
