The White House confirms no immediate plans for a Trump-Putin meeting. Despite Trump's suggestion for another summit, no official meeting is scheduled.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -There are no plans for U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet "in the immediate future," a senior White House official said on Tuesday, days after Trump floated another summit with his Russian counterpart.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also have no plans to meet in person, the official said, saying their call on Monday was "productive."
