Russian Tu-22M3 bombers patrolled the Baltic Sea in a scheduled flight, escorted by foreign jets, as reported by RIA.
MOSCOW (Reuters) -Russian Tu-22M3 long-range bombers conducted a scheduled flight over neutral waters in the Baltic Sea, Russian state-run news agency RIA reported, citing the defence ministry.
At various stages of the mission the bombers were escorted by fighter jets from foreign countries, the ministry was cited as saying.
