Market Competitive Landscape:-
Major layers operating in the Global U.S., Japan & Germany Precision Connector Market are: Samtec, NorComp, Japan Aviation Electronics (JAE) Industry, Ltd., Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd., HIROSE ELECTRIC CO., LTD., TE Connectivity, Radiall, PHOENIX CONTACT, W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc., Molex, ROSENBERGER HOCHFREQUENZTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG, Frontlynk Inc., HUBER+SUHNER, Amphenol Corporation, and EZconn Corporation
The Precision Connectors series of RF interconnections provides a very high quality series of interconnects for use where high precision is required. Often these RF connectors are used in measurement applications, or where exceedingly high performance is required. The precision series of interconnections is typically intended for very high frequency RF, i.e. microwave interconnections. The quality of a test configuration – the repeatability of a connector over a large number of cycles – is of crucial importance. That is why precision connectors from Rosenberger are subject of meticulous manufacturing processes in very narrow tolerance windows.
In addition, the focus is on low-wear use, which is ensured at Rosenberger with the help of high-quality materials such as stainless steel and copper beryllium. Precision Connector, Inc. has introduced a new precision Type N connector available for .300 diameter low-loss cables. Using Solder/Clamp cable termination with a soldered center contact, the connector operates in the frequency range from DC to 18GHz. The design has a dielectric loaded solid outer conductor that is compatible with all N female interfaces and has a robust internal captivation. Other features include a convenient knurl/hex coupling nut and an extended tail grip designed to retain SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/4 dual wall heat shrink in hi-flex applications. Additionally, the connector has moisture resistant front and rear seals and is thermally rated from -55 degrees C to +170 degrees C.
