United States/WA: Thrust Vector Control System Market Will Boom In Near Future

Report Pages:[130 Pages]

Market Competitive Landscape:-

Major layers operating in the Global Thrust Vector Control System Market are: Honeywell International, Inc., Moog, Inc., Woodward, Inc., Jansen Aircraft Systems Control, Inc., BAE Systems, Wickman Spacecraft & Propulsion Company, Parker Hannifin, Inc. , Sierra Nevada Corporation, Dynetics, Inc., and SABCA

Thrust vectoring, also known as thrust vector control (TVC), is the ability of an aircraft, rocket, or another vehicle to manipulate the direction of the thrust from its engine(s) or motor(s) to control the attitude or angular velocity of the vehicle. Thrust-vectoring flight control (TVFC) is obtained through deflection of the aircraft jets in some or all of the pitch, yaw, and roll directions. In the extreme, deflection of the jets in yaw, pitch, and roll creates desired forces and moments enabling complete directional control of the aircraft flight path without the implementation of the conventional aerodynamic flight controls (CAFC). TVFC can also be used to hold stationary flights in areas of the flight envelope where the main aerodynamic surfaces are stalled.

TVFC includes control of STOVL aircraft during the hover and during the transition between hover and forward speeds below 50 knots where aerodynamic surfaces are ineffective. The combustion or thrust chamber can be considered as divided into five major components: the injector assembly, the grain compartment, the aft mixing chamber, the nozzle, and the thrust vector control, which typically, but not necessarily, is part of the nozzle. For flights in the atmosphere, it is usually more efficient to simply use fins or wings with actuators. Moog leads the industry in the design, development, and production of flight control systems for launchers and space vehicles. Our actuators, control electronics, and subsystem integration enable reliable thrust vector control (TVC) for several different launch vehicles.
