Blockchain Conference Abu Dhabi, the main FinTech event in the Middle East region, will be held on December 7, 2017 in Abu Dhabi. We are glad to announce that the conference agenda includes exclusive panel discussion “Legal and Regulation” with the participation of two high level speakers of the event – Founder of Legal Advice Middle East (UAE) Suzanna Kalendzhian and Director at Diacle (Hong Kong) Adam Vaziri.

    Topics to be discussed:

    1. Cryptocurrency regulation in the world, including in UAE.

Today, the whole world is concerned about the issue of cryptocurrency regulation, and the Emirates is no exception. This topic will be covered during the first part of our discussion panel involving personal experiences shared by the qualified lawyers from around the globe. The government of the Emirate might soon follow the example of Japan and give cryptocurrency the same status as fiat currency within the legal framework, mightn’t it?

    1. The legal status of ICOs and tokens.

The conference speakers during the second part of the panel will share their opinion on the legal status of tokens in the UAE and their vision of the tokenization market development in this region and worldwide.

The discussion panel will feature the following participants (to be updated):

Suzanna Kalendzhian is the Founder of LegalAdviceME.com – an award-winning online legal services platform connecting consumers and lawyers across the Middle East by allowing them to find, communicate and transact with each other online.

Legal Advice Middle East, the first online legal services marketplace in the region, was nominated for Dubai SME Stars of Business Awards 2016 and became a Winner of the 2016 Innovating Justice Award from the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL).

Adam Vaziri is a blockchain lawyer and set up Diacle assist blockchain & fintech projects with compliance. Diacle is based in London and Hong Kong. He is a tireless blockchain entrepreneur and labelled a ‘ bitcoin pioneer’ by Bitcoin Magazine. It is now his third term as director of UKDCA, which lobbied and achieved the most favorable regulatory environment for cryptocurrency in the world. Adam runs bitlegal.io a global tracker for blockchain law since 2014 and featured by CNN and Washington Post. Adam ran first suite of blockchain hackathons across the world: UK, India, HKand Malaysia under HackCoin. Adam is a member of Chain-Finance which provides dedicated news/events for the blockchain financial services industry.
