Sudan's RSF claims to have captured the army headquarters in al-Fashir, Darfur's last stronghold. The army has not yet commented.
CAIRO (Reuters) -Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces said on Sunday they had captured the army headquarters in the city of al-Fashir, the Sudanese army's last stronghold in the western Darfur region.
The army did not immediately give a statement on its current position.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) is a paramilitary group in Sudan, formed from militias and tasked with maintaining security and order in the country.
A military headquarters is the central command facility for a military organization, where strategic decisions are made and operations are coordinated.
