Satinder Soni is an Associate Director for Control Risks, Legal Technologies & Investigations in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Control Risks is strategic global risk consultancy specialising in helping organisations manage political, integrity and security risks in complex and hostile environments.

Satinder has worked with numerous legal and risk compliance officers from many of the top global law firms and large multi-national organisations. Satinder specialises in consulting clients and working with them to find viable solutions to their e-discovery / e-disclosure needs, whether it is an internal investigation or a litigation matter. She has extensive experience working in the region and has an in-depth understanding of regional business practice and the risk environment.
Prior to Control Risks, Satinder worked in the energy industry; where she marketed trading pricing for oil & gas. Satinder then moved to Merrill where she built strong effective relationships, which resulted in some of the company’s largest accounts, which includes some of the ‘Magic Circle’ law firms. Satinder’s role not only encompassed litigation support but also electronic presentation of evidence at trial and transcription services.
Satinder lives in London with her husband and two children. In her spare time she enjoys reading classical English Literature and is currently working her way through the 100 greatest novels of all time.
