RENOWNED BEHAVIOURAL ECONOMIST, DAN ARIELY, PRESENTING KEYNOTE AT FICO WORLD 2016
Registration opened for FICO World 2016 this week. This year’s theme, “The Decisions Conference,” stems from the unprecedented change that FICO clients, and many other large enterprises, are facing – from new business models to shifting customer expectations and security risks. Thriving in this new landscape means harnessing data to inform your teams and thereby make smarter and more precise decisions. Renowned behavioural economist, Dan Ariely, will present a keynote on decision making, focusing on how and why people act the way they do.
Keynote presenter, Dan Ariely, will discuss his research into how and why people act the way they do, and the implications for business innovation, strategy, marketing and pricing. Ariely is the best-selling author of The (Honest) Truth About Dishonesty, The Upside of Irrationality and Predictably Irrational. He is also the James B. Duke Professor of Behavioural Economics at Duke University. Other keynote presenters will include FICO executives Dr. Stuart Wells, executive vice president and chief technology and products officer, and Jim Wehmann, executive vice president for Scores. The conference will also feature a special keynote panel bringing together leading firms from multiple industries to discuss how advanced decision management technology has transformed their businesses.

This decisions conference, which will take place April 26 – 29 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC, will feature more than 100 speakers in 80 breakout sessions on analytic innovation, auto lending, collections, credit scoring, customer on boarding and experience, cybersecurity, insurance, mortgage lending and regulatory compliance. An estimated 1,000 professionals responsible for in this arena will explore the latest technologies and strategies for unlocking insights and powering the best decisions possible.
The conference will also include a special executive track for select senior clients, and a “Practical and Tactical” track for technical audiences. Other events will include the FICO™ Auto Forum for auto lenders, and the popular FICO™ World Credit Boot Camp, for newer lenders.
