WEST DES MOINES, Iowa., September 27, 2021 — The parent business of West Bank, West Bancorporation, Inc. (Nasdaq: WTBA; the “Company”), revealed that Dave Nelson, Chairman & CEO of West Bank, will serve the American Bankers Association (ABA) Board of Directors. The American Bankers Association is the national trade association for the banking industry, representing banks of all types across the United States.
Nelson formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Iowa Bankers Association for several years, including as Chairman. Nelson has also been a member of a number of ABA committees. Nelson is one of six bankers from throughout the country who will serve on the American Bankers Association’s Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning in October 2021.
