Established in 2000, Mobey Forum brings together leading financial institutions, mobile network operators, mobile handset manufacturers, payment processors and vendors, committed to accelerating the mass market deployment of user-friendly mobile financial services by promoting open and secure technology standards. The association’s membership now comprises 50+ members from the mobile financial services value chain.
In 2012, the association launched Mobey Forum North America, a new arm created specifically to address industry issues facing the region. The North American Chapter brings together key players in the marketplace to work through issues impacting the mobile financial ecosystem’s future and accelerate the development of sustainable mobile financial services in this region.
