The highly anticipated “Neurodiversity – A New Paradigm” International Conference, set to take place in Liverpool on Friday 16th June is a unique event which brings together a remarkable gathering of leaders, influencers, entrepreneurs, public sector executives, and pioneering creative talents from diverse organisations, businesses, and creative industries.

Internationally renowned leaders in industry and the public sector will share insights on best practice, innovation and technology that is transforming our economy; diversity in the workplace; and culture changes in the rapidly evolving technology driven context of 21st Century UK.

TV Presenter, Comedian and Patron of the ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity Charity, Rory Bremner joins an esteemed line-up of speaker which includes Jermaine Pennant former professional footballer, Aidy Smith TV Presenter and Charity Patron, Prof James Brown Group Communications Lead, Psychiatry UK, Tania Martin UK&I Neuro-Diverse Ecosystem and People Lead, EY and Angela Prentner Smith of This is Milk.

Angela Prentner Smith, founder and MD of Glasgow-based tech company This is Milk and who identifies in the neurominority said:

“I’m thrilled to be attending this event to learn more about the prevalence of dyslexia, autism, ADHD, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, and speech and language difficulties in business which often start at school. I’ll also be taking to the stage to share my personal and professional experiences to discuss creativity, entrepreneurship and neurodiversity”.

In an era of rapid technological advancements and cultural shifts, where emerging technologies like artificial intelligence are transforming our lives and work, the importance of being responsive, adaptable, and innovative has never been greater. The “Neurodiversity – A New Paradigm” Conference recognises the value and profitability that diversity brings to commerce, culture, and the workforce.

Leading companies of the 21st Century, including Google, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, Sony, as well as bioengineering, bioscience, and engineering industries, have demonstrated that their success is, in large part, due to actively recruiting employees who “Think Differently.”

Research reveals that over 40% of millionaires are dyslexic, and over 30% of risk-taking entrepreneurs, business owners, and senior executives have been diagnosed with ADHD or dyslexia, or both. Notably, graduates with ADHD are twice as likely to start their own businesses.

The “Neurodiversity – A New Paradigm” International Conference promises to be an enlightening and transformative event. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, exchange ideas, and collaborate on shaping a future that embraces and celebrates neurodiversity.
