A draft resolution is a formal proposal put forward for discussion and approval by a legislative body, such as the United Nations Security Council, outlining specific actions or policies.
The United Nations Security Council is one of the six main organs of the UN, responsible for maintaining international peace and security, and can make decisions that member states are obligated to implement.
