Previously, Yann worked as a research engineer for Microsoft, creating artificial intelligence (AI) products for Azure, and prior to this, he supported the growth of an AdTech start-up in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley.Recently, iBanFirst announced its last funding round, while achieving three-figure revenue growth. The CDO’s appointment is testament to the company’s data-driven hyper-growth strategy to become the world’s leading financial services provider.

Commenting on his appointment, Yann Stadnicki, Chief Data Officer, iBanFirst said: “I’m delighted to join the iBanFirst team to fuel its growth in Europe and on a global basis, to achieve its global ambition of becoming number 1 in FX payments. With a PhD in mathematics, and with my software engineering background in Silicon Valley and at Microsoft, I realised the potential for data insights and applied artificial intelligence and machine learning within the fintech market. I was attracted by iBanFirst’s already fast-growing business, and through applying emerging technologies – within the context of the new European Directive and the open banking framework – we can now support its hyper-growth trajectory.”

Pierre-Antoine Dusoulier, CEO and Founder, iBanFirst said: “As we navigate the ’new normal’, innovations in the fintech sector will have a truly transformative impact on small and medium-sized businesses and their ability to make cost-efficient payments. At iBanFirst we understand the importance of embracing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data orchestration to optimise the experience of our customers.”

“The appointment of Yann Stadnicki as Chief Data Officer strengthens our global market position as a world leader in financial services. The new hire is a great asset to the iBanFirst business and is part of our hyper-growth strategy. We are using the power of data to offer our customers the information that will help them make smarter decisions and operate more effectively.”
