April 13 (Reuters) - Financial services company Rothschild has named Gregoire Salignon as the head of its Rothschild Martin Maurel division, the company said on Monday.
• Salignon, who first joined Rothschild in 2002 as a wealth planning specialist, will take on the role from April 12. He will oversee wealth management activities in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy and Monaco.
• Rothschild says it has 143 billion euros ($167 billion) in assets under management in its wealth and asset management division.
• "Wealth Management is a key pillar of Rothschild & Co, driven by a long-term vision and a constant commitment to serving the families and entrepreneurs we support,” said Alexandre de Rothschild, Executive Chairman of Rothschild & Co, in a statement.
