PARIS, April 2 (Reuters) - Rima Hassan, a French far-left Member of European Parliament (MEP), was being held in police custody on Thursday over a comment she posted on X last month, said her fellow party member Jean-Luc Melenchon.
Melenchon confirmed the situation in a post on X, following an earlier report by Le Parisien newspaper.
Hassan and her lawyer did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
