TotalEnergies will appeal a French antitrust fine over its Corsica fuel supply practices, citing disproportionate penalties and initiating a strategic review.
(Reuters) -French oil major TotalEnergies said on Tuesday it will challenge a French Competition Authority ruling that fined the company over its petroleum supply practices in Corsica.
"Given the disproportionate nature of the fine compared to the profitability of its operations on the island, TotalEnergies has decided to initiate a strategic review of the conditions for continuing its marketing activities in Corsica," the group added.
