PARIS, March 26 (Reuters) - France will announce targeted measures in the coming days to address energy price spikes driven by the Iran war, French finance minister Roland Lescure said on Thursday.
The government is preparing support for sectors hit hard by rising costs, including trucking companies and fisheries that are struggling to pay their energy bills, he said.
"In the next few days we will be able to announce new measures," Lescure said in an interview with French broadcaster RTL.
"We have already taken steps for those, we are looking at what we call high-mileage drivers, but we will do so again in a targeted manner."
Lescure said he had called a meeting with G7 finance ministers, energy ministers and central bankers for Monday to discuss the situation.
