    Ho Chi Minh City, April 2017 – To drive credit card penetration amongst first time users and to promote cashless transactions, VPBank Finance Company Limited (FE CREDIT) has launched instant credit cards. This is Vietnam’s first ever instant credit card functionality which has been enabled with the following ground breaking features:

    • Instant Application and Approval: A customer can just walk in, apply and be approved for a card all within less than 20 minutes
    • Instant Issuance & Personalization: Using proprietary technology and a state of the art FP65i Instant Card machine from Entrust Datacard, an FE CREDIT Plus MasterCard credit card will be issued within just 5 minutes post approval to the customer.
    • Instant Activation: The cardholder will be able to activate his/her FE CREDIT Card instantly, by sending a simple SMS
    • Instant Usage and Rewards: The cardholder can start using his/her new FE CREDIT MasterCard credit card at any MasterCard accepting POS or ATM in Vietnam or anywhere in the world for cashless convenience and also start earning Everyday Rewards Plus points on all card usage.

    FE CREDIT has enabled this unique technology driven solution at Nguyen Kim, one of the largest consumer electronics and durables retailers in Vietnam. So now customers can simply walk in, apply and get a FE CREDIT Plus card INSTANTLY and start shopping at Nguyen Kim. Initially available at one flagship outlet, the facility will be rolled out across other outlets subsequently.
