The JetScan iFX® i100 series is the fastest, most accurate scanner and provides superior counterfeit detection for multiple currencies around the world.
Cummins Allison, the leading innovator and provider of coin, cheque and currency handling solutions, has introduced the JetScan iFX i100 series desktop banknote solution for currency processing applications. The device scans at a rate of up to 1,200 notes per minute and now supports GBP (Great Britain Pounds), the Euro and the Turkish Lira in addition to U.S. and Canadian dollars. Organisations can now benefit from the fastest throughput, highest levels of counterfeit detection and lowest note rejection rates in the industry.
The JetScan iFX i100 series is also the first desktop currency scanner to offer high-speed serial number capture and instant database storage. For example, the JetScan iFX i100 has dramatically changed the way law enforcement agencies process and document currency. Only Cummins Allison offers a complete system that quickly counts, images and records serial numbers of mixed notes in a matter of seconds.
Cummins Allison U.K.’s Managing Director, Andy Crowson said, “The JetScan iFX is an incredibly exciting new product to be introducing into the UK, Ireland, Europe and Asia.  Its improved accuracy, higher counterfeit detection, and ability to capture serial numbers are features our customers find very interesting.”  This new product is another milestone in our long tradition of developing game-changing technology.”  The JetScan iFX i100 is part of Cummins Allison’s revolutionary document imaging platform, which features advanced currency processing capabilities. With the JetScan iFX, documents are processed more quickly, more accurately and with fewer stops thus ensuring unmatched productivity.
According to Andy Crowson, the JetScan iFX product line will continue to get more exciting. “This is the first in a series of new product developments with a common platform that will allow for future product enhancements. This technology paves the way for a family of JetScan iFX products.”
