China’s Vice Commerce Minister Ling Ji urged Novo Nordisk to deepen its commitment to the Chinese healthcare market, highlighting expectations for the Danish drugmaker to help advance China’s health goals amid rising demand for diabetes and obesity treatments.
BEIJING, March 20 (Reuters) - China hopes Novo Nordisk will "continue to cultivate the Chinese market and contribute to building a healthy China," said Ling Ji, China's vice commerce minister, during a meeting with an executive VP from the Danish drugmaker on Friday, the ministry said.
