CFE Finance Group, an investment banking boutique, has acquired 100% of TechStar, a pioneering company in industrial metaverse technologies, strengthening its presence in this strategic and highly innovative sector. This acquisition is a key move for the group’s future, aiming to expand its presence in the international market for immersive solutions and to create long-term value.

TechStar is internationally recognized for its Meta Presence® platform, one of the most advanced B2B solutions for the industrial and enterprise metaverse. The platform leverages advanced technologies like Extended Reality (XR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Digital Twin, applicable across sectors such as industrial manufacturing, healthcare, public services, and training.

Over the last three years, CFE Finance Group has invested over €6 million in the Meta Presence® platform, highlighting its growth potential and strategic interest for the group. The full acquisition—previously owning 49%— demonstrates CFE Finance Group’s commitment to fostering innovation and solidifying its position in the rapidly expanding industrial metaverse market. Meta Presence® offers scalable and secure solutions suitable for both small and large enterprises, establishing TechStar’s partnerships with major IT market players and serving prestigious clients worldwide.

“The decision to acquire the entirety of TechStar is perfectly in line with our long-term investment strategy, which focuses on high-growth sectors and on technologies that adhere to ESG principles,” stated Marina Padalino, board member of CFE Finance Group. “TechStar not only meets these criteria but allows us to be at the forefront of global industrial innovation, thanks to the talent and vision of its team. We are convinced that this transaction will generate significant growth opportunities and returns.”

The acquisition strengthens CFE Finance Group’s position as one of the main players in the industrial metaverse sector, laying the groundwork for strong international expansion and achieving sustainable profitability by 2025.

Tazio Sacilotto, COO of TechStar, commented: “This agreement represents a milestone for both companies, marking the beginning of a new phase of development and success in the industrial metaverse landscape. The financial solidity and long-term vision of CFE Finance Group provide TechStar with the necessary resources to expand its international presence and consolidate its market leadership, while simultaneously generating sustainable profits.”

The transaction was managed by Alessandro Rocca and Giuseppe Undari of the legal and tax firm Rocca Mazzola Undari Associati, who provided legal and fiscal assistance to CFE Finance Group.
