Andersen Tax New York Office Welcomes Managing Director Curtis Best

Andersen Tax welcomes the addition of Curtis Best as a Managing Director in the New York office. He will join the firms Commercial Practice group, with a particular focus in international services. Curtis has over 26 years of experience in areas including international tax structuring and minimization, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property and software planning.

We are excited to have Curtis join our team in New York, stated Peter Coscia, Office Managing Director of the New York office. He brings invaluable experience and knowledge in permanent establishment planning, foreign tax credit planning, E&P planning, transfer pricing, cash repatriation, IC-DISC, Subpart F planning, and inbound and outbound tax planning and compliance.

Dan DePaoli, U.S. Country Managing Director added, Curtis is an important addition to the New York office as we continue to build international capabilities in the Commercial space. His background in most areas of international tax/consulting will contribute to Andersen Taxs best-in-class service for middle market to large closely held multinational corporations globally.

Prior to joining Andersen Tax, Curtis was a Partner at Marks Paneth LLP and McGladrey LLP, where he was the leader of their U.S. Base Erosion and Profit Shifting team and the Southeast region leader of their Global Tax Strategies Group. He also previously worked at PwC and EY. In the earlier years of his career, Curtis also worked at Arthur Andersen.

Curtis received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina “ Charlotte. He also received his Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of South Carolina.
