Avanti West Coast train managers plan strikes on New Year's Eve over a working dispute, with additional strikes on Jan. 2 and Sundays until May 25.
LONDON (Reuters) - Train managers at British rail services between London and Edinburgh, known as Avanti West Coast, are planning to strike on New Year's Eve over a rest day working dispute, Sky News reported on Tuesday.
Sky News, citing the RMT union, said train managers would also walk out on Jan. 2 as well as every Sunday between Jan. 12 and May 25. It comes after their strikes planned for Dec. 22, 23 and 29 were suspended last week.
